Curated Safe Space for Women of Color*

Behind every "first" or "only" is a successful woman blazing trails.

You might be a "first" - meaning, you were the first to go to college, the first to get a corporate job or the first to travel outside of the country. You might have been the first to hit $500,000 or more in your business. Or maybe, you were the first to seek therapy for the trauma many of us are ignoring.

You might be an "only". The only Black woman in your department. The only Filipina in marketing or maybe you're the only woman in tech.

Or maybe you're a trailblazer. The person every goes to when the hard questions need asking. The one who speaks up, speaks out and pushes the envelope.

There is a responsibility that comes with these titles and it probably means you're tired . . . REALLY tired. Which is why we created The.Well. We wanted to create a space for us to be nourished and supported as we navigate this thing we call life. And we figured, why not share what we're learning.

We work hard, and play harder. And we wanted a safe space where we can share our challenges knowing our experiences will be believed, our perspectives will be heard and our authentic selves will be seen.

The.Well Approach

Inclusivity and Community Engagement

The.Well is a space for women of color to identify resources for their business, career and their overall life while building connections within our community. We believe behind every successful woman is another successful woman who has her back. For that to be true, our space has to be filled with other women who see us, nurture us and support us.

Important Terms:

Woman: We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome anyone who identifies as such.

Woman of Color: Your race and culture combine to define you and in this space, when we use the term, we mean any woman of a race other than white.

Ally: A person who wholeheartedly agrees with the terms above, the mission of our space and has proven in their life and business that they support women of color, not only in words, but also in actions.
